Some answers...

My husband has a 'large' brain tumor.

We found out late this morning (from the MRI he had done a few days ago) and we had to go straight to the hospital where he was admitted and is spending the night. I am home to be with the kids tonight and to try to get some sleep. Back to the hospital in the morning and hopefully we'll have more details on the operation to remove the tumor.

Prayers please everyone. As many as you've got.

  6. You've got it--prayers and positive thoughts your way. I'm sorry to hear this news.

And I know that anecdotal stories are sometimes more a pain in the ass than help, but...my aunt had a really large brain tumor that ruptured before they found it and operated. She had surgery, came home relatively quickly and recovered pretty quickly as well. She's the same person she was (sweet and funny) and doing really well--no lasting effects whatsoever. I know it's different but there is hope. Hugs to you all.
