  1. Don't know what my sons would think...haha they prefer to put posters on their ceilings and have a nack of smashing light fittings with play swords, cricket bats, drum sticks and the like...lol...thats boys!, but these are all fabulous rooms

  2. Can't wait for my kids to be old enough to really do damage at our place! NOT! LOL!

  3. Just bought a sparkly crystal one for my girls room...I may want one myself.

  4. I definitely need a sparkly one somewhere in our house. Light fixtures are something we need to replace in our house since all the ones we have are the cheap-o fixtures that new homes come with...BLEH!

  5. I love the stuff that you post...Every room I loved! I am dreaming of what to put in my daughter's room (she is almost 6), we live a house that was built in 1957---small rooms, small closets, old school light fixtures. One thing at a time, I guess. We have a lot to do!

  6. Thanks e! I love older homes and would love to own one someday. I love all the 'oldness' about them from the quirkiness to old school fixtures...instead of old we bought brand new and it just bores me really...

  7. Mine is 1951 'modern', with terrible buzzy light fixtures - we've replaced three so far, and have one for my daughters room ready to install...next up...my bedroom or the dining room. Some are so EXPENSIVE though...I bought the chand. from overstock.com for $89!

  8. So jealous! Light fixtures definitely can be expensive which is why I haven't bothered changing any in our house. I do think I am getting a light fixture from my sister Kim - which reminds me that I'll have to bug her for it. There is a serious lack of lighting in our living/dining room and need the fixture from Kim.

It's funny but all the ugly fixtures that are in our house are all shaped like boobs...
