Family home tour

My sister Kim sent me this link from the New York Times of a creative, funky, family home in Seoul, South Korea. The house is U-shaped with a courtyard in the middle.

  1. I would love a house shaped liked this with a court yard in middle...they seem to like green wouldn't you say? haha. Very cool even down to the scooter!

  2. Courtyard? Love it. Green? Love it. Kitchen with counter space? Love it. (Sigh.) Mosaic tile in the bathroom? Love it. All those giant open windows? Love. It.

  3. I agree with you both in that I love everything about it. I'm really liking the idea of a house without stairs. Simon is 30+ pounds and carrying him up and down stairs all the time is rather exhausting.

  4. What a great home. Funny thing my son said to me when looking for a new house (moving from a rambler)- At the top of his 'want list' was: a house with stairs...ha.

  5. Kids LOVE to run up and down stairs. We as parents, just find stairs really irritating...LOL!

  6. That green is the same color my mom painted her kitchen cabinets... it's a very happy color and we're still not tired of it, even after several years!

Love the sunken movie pit! Looks so comfy!!
