The damn crib is back!

It was painful for Pablo to get Simon down for his naps in the afternoons. Usually Simon would have his nap at 12:30. It was taking Pablo till past 3 to get him to settle down and stay in his bed. SO, the crib is back. BLEH. We'll try again in a couple months...

  1. Oh well, it's not the worst thing. We got rid of ours too soon I think. He went through that take too long to settle down stage too. We used to be able to put him in his crib, shut the door and leave and he'd go to sleep. After he went to the bed, reading in bed, lay with me please, sit in here til I fall asleep, blah, blah. I wish we'd have just kept it for a while but it's okay now. He'll lay down and stay in bed (for me) if we leave the door open and the hall light on low.

  2. Awww Gabe. You gotta send me a photo off the boy so that I can put a face to the name...

Simon still loves his crib and has never even attempted to get out of it so might as well let him sleep in it awhile longer. And I love just being able to put him in the crib at bedtime and having him fall asleep on his own and I can relax/sleep without worrying about him.

  3. I went through this with my little one. I desperately wanted her to be out of the crib before she wanted to be. We reverted to the crib for a few months, then tried again, and voila. No problems whatsoever.
