I rearranged some of the stuff on the walls in Isabella's room and here is what it looks like now:
A couple weeks ago, I repainted the main bathroom on the second floor (the one that the kids and I use).
The bathroom before:
The bathroom now (ignore the unironed shower curtain...I'm hoping steam from the shower will get those out cause I'm lazy):
I also changed up the mantle in the basement because I found it really boring:A couple weeks ago, I repainted the main bathroom on the second floor (the one that the kids and I use).

Isabella's room looks fantastic! Love the bathroom Shower curtain too.
ReplyDeletelove bella's room. bathroom looks way better. i've got a stainless steel sink if you want to change out that boring white one. that and a funky dark faucet and dark knobs on the cabinet would look really good. and for the love of gawd save your pennies for a NEW LIGHT FIXTURE. those vanity fixtures make me want to kill myself. i can't wait to bash the one in my powder room to pieces...actually, i can't wait to bash the whole room with a bulldozer...
ReplyDeleteThanks Kelly! I love the shower curtain too (it's from Urban Outfitters). The one it replaced was so boring.
ReplyDeleteKim - I'll keep the sink in mind. This entire house needs new light fixtures. All three bathrooms have those ugly vanity fixtures and don't even get me started on the 'nipple' ceiling lights in the basement. GAG! I also need a light fixture in the living room and some sort of arc type lamp in the dining room.........good lord I need to win the lottery or something...
I love Isabella's room! Especially the old window above her bed.
ReplyDeleteYou can iron shower curtains???
ReplyDeleteI didn't know that.
LOVE Isabella's room!
Especially the first shot.
Gorgeous bedspread and owl cushion and bunting.
And the blue fabric in the window frame is perfect.
She's a lucky girl.
these mini makeovers look great! I love Isabella's room, you've got a good eye :)
ReplyDeleteall the pictures are fantastic. i like your style a lot!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful decoration in Isabella's room. I really like the crochet garland and your pillow collection!
ReplyDeleteThanks Hollie! The old window I got at a flea market years ago and I finally put it to good use!
ReplyDeleteLetitia - I'd be too afraid to attempt to iron this one. Thanks for the compliments!
Thanks everyone! Simon and Isabella's rooms are my fav in the whole house.
That window is fabulous! And if you had tried to iron the shower curtain, I would've had to smack you. And not in a good way! ;-)
ReplyDeleteEverything really looks great! You've really done a lot of stuff. Whew, I'm tired.
The wrinkles aren't coming out though with steam...dammit. Glad you like everything! Next is my bedroom and that makes me tired just thinking about it! :)
ReplyDeleteMine is still not completely painted around the edges. Joe even stayed home a week to get the edges (because I suck at the edges I guess) and of course, that's the week he got sick. OF COURSE.
ReplyDeleteLOL! Now that is shitty timing! If I was close by, I'd be there in a flash to do the edges. I'm pretty good at it and I actually don't mind doing it. Sad.
ReplyDeleteDid you want to sell any of your white pottery? I am particularly interested in the one second from the left (with the hole in the middle).
ReplyDeleteI ended up putting all the white vases on the dresser in our bedroom for now. For the right price, I'd sell them all! The second one from the left I got at one of our local grocery stores (PC brand - very inexpensive).
ReplyDeletei love your daughter's room! it's AMAZING.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Lora!
ReplyDeleteoh how i love her room..............
ReplyDeleteThanks! It's definitely one of my favourite rooms in the house!
ReplyDeleteUMM. Could your house be any cuter!? That window just gave me major diy inspiration.... I just found a window at a junk yard a few days ago and I'm dying to do something cute with it. That's the perfect idea!
ReplyDeleteThank you kindly Morgan!
ReplyDeleteformidavel!
ReplyDeletewhere is that bedspread from? i'm in love
ReplyDeletethe bedspread is actually two bedspreads, one pink and a white one on top, both I got on Etsy and both are vintage.
ReplyDeleteLOVE your daughters room! Perfectly girly vintage.
ReplyDeleteThanks Katie! It really doesn't look like this anymore though. We got her a new bed, repainted walls, etc.
