Is there anything worse than when your kid gets the stomach flu?!?!?
Let me answer that: YES - WHEN BOTH YOUR KIDS HAVE THE STOMACH FLU AT THE SAME TIME!
Simon joined Isabella in the vomiting marathon at approximately 4:30 this afternoon.
I'm going to assume that with the wonderful luck we've been having lately, Pablo and I are soon to follow. And my guess is that if Pablo can barely cough without it causing him great pain due to the hernia surgery then puking is going to be a much more terrible experience for him than it would normally be.
F*ck.

you deserve a gold medal... and a really nice vacation. I hope the kiddos get to feeling better soon!
ReplyDeletei agree with Hollie!! I hope the kids get better fast!
ReplyDeleteThanks guys.
ReplyDeleteThis is a really bad stomach flu. The kids got it worse than Pablo and I. I have never changed so many poopy diapers in such a short time span. That sure didn't help my nausea this weekend.
The kids haven't thrown up since Saturday night although Simon threw up a bit of his breakfast this morning. I probably shouldn't have made him eggs but we need groceries and that's all we had.
Isabella has barely moved or spoken since Friday night. I'm not used to this quiet. All four of us spent the whole weekend laying in our bed and all the kids wanted to do was cuddle (in between trips to the bathroom and thankfully we have two bathrooms upstairs).
No work for me today and no school for Isabella.
Oh no!!!!! Are you feeling better today? Poor baby. I'd bring you groceries if I could.
ReplyDeleteTotal and utter mayhem over here. We all went to get groceries Monday night. That was the only time that everyone was actually feeling good enough to venture outdoors. Simon is so damn sick and he hasn't even cried once.
ReplyDeleteOh geez. Yuck. At least there are groceries in the house. That always makes me feel better. Simon is a sweetie pie.
ReplyDeleteThe worst was eating today in front of Simon and all I could give him were a couple of cheerios. I felt SOOO bad.
ReplyDeleteoh, Jule, poor little pumpkin! At least I'm glad to hear that Pablo is doing well. My best wishes for him. My surgery went well at the same day as Pablo's. It was more complicated and I lost nearly 2L of bloooooood. I’m Home since Monday and getting better day-by-day. Still typing with one arm though haha. Love all of you and hope that you would get better. Thanks for the support, love and prayers, it works :)
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad to hear from you Ella!!! Fantastic news that your surgery went well but that's too bad that it was more complicated and the blood loss. I bet you're glad to be recovering at home. Hospitals stays are always so long and depressing.
ReplyDeleteStay positive and I hope your arm heals quickly. Miss you a ton and please keep me posted on your recovery. Thank YOU for all the support, love and prayers. You're the best and I love ya!
