I made paper balls!

Kirigami paper balls that is. And it took me a whole freaking 3 hours!!! But they are cute and look really good in Isabella's room...

I hung them off a stick and hung it from the ceiling in Isabella's room

Here is what was hanging from the ceiling before the paper balls:

(the paper balls were a kit from the company DJECO - all sorts of stores sell them like this one)

How I spent my birthday

Most of it was spent at work but when I got home, Pablo and I took the kids to a fair. It was really cloudy and looked like it was going to rain but thankfully it didn't and because of this, the fair was really quiet - no waiting to go on rides or play games. My sister, her husband and my niece came also. We all had alot of fun.

the slide was a big hit with these 3

they went on it a few times

Dave took Gia and she seemed to like it till right after this photo, then she started crying once the shock of what she just did wore off

on the merry go round

Simon loved the petting zoo but squealed anytime an animal got too close

he threw the food at them rather than let them eat from his hand. hilarious.

Gia freaked out
Gia not impressed

the animals were traumatized
this ride bored the both of them
Isabella looked so huge on these kiddie rides
Simon thinking to himself 'Is this going to be over soon!?!?'
Simon LOVES playing the games - way more than he likes rides
he won a duck
Gia liked this duck WAY BETTER than the ducks in the petting zoo
she had a blast and I got to hold her lots which thrilled me
