I got a reader request recently from Audrey. It sounded like a fun challenge:
I just found your blog via pinterest and I've been loving it! I have two little boys that are due for a room makeover, and they currently love animals and rainbows. I avoided themed nursery stuff and so I've never been a fan of "Noah's Ark" as a theme, but it WOULD let me incorporate their "favorites." all the stuff I can find is too cartoonish or just looks silly to me. I don't mind cobbling together my own stuff, but I'm looking for ideas. Could you let me know if you find anything that uses animals or nautical themes in a funky or bright way, without being too overproduced? Thanks!
Audrey, here is what I found in my stash of photos. I hope this gives you some inspiration! :

I love some of these elements but i definitely couldn't do a whole theme underwater room. I think it would drive me crazy!
ReplyDeleteThank you so, so much! These will be really helpful!! I like so many different elements of each room! :) the wolf bedding and the real animal pictures especially stick out to me, but I also love the tiger mural and the incorporation of ropes into bunkbeds.
ReplyDeleteGlad you found this helpful Audrey! It was fun putting this post together!
ReplyDeleteCould you please trim me where to find the letters for the word wall
