recipes I've tried in the last few weeks

Sorry I haven't posted recipes in awhile - blame it on Christmas vacation. I did do alot of cooking and baking and therefore this post will be a little longer than normal. Monday I am back at work and the kids are back at school. It was so nice, all of us having the last two weeks together! So here is a couple weeks of recipes I've tried:

We had a family holiday dinner at my aunt and uncle's house and I was to bring a vegetable. I decided to try this slow cooker creamed corn. HOLY FREAKING YUM-O.

foodie crush

Nothing better than BBQ'd chicken and even better is BBQ chicken when you have no BBQ or it is covered in 5 feet of snow. This oven baked BBQ chicken was a hit.

culinary covers

Bought some stir fry beef on sale so I made P.F. Chang's mongolian beef (copycat). Yum and easy.

creme de la crumb

Tried this maple and soy glazed flank steak. Can never go wrong if maple syrup is involved...

my recipes

I went back in the archives and decided to make some of my favs, starting with thai chicken wraps - a family fav:

I made a couple of slow cooker dinners in the last couple of days: crockpot brown sugar balsamic glazed pork tenderloin and slow cooker teriyaki chicken. Both delicious, especially the pork.

Found a delicious banana muffin recipe that includes peanut butter (won't be making these during the school year):

I didn't end up doing any Christmas baking besides these cranberry white chocolate chip nutella cookies. They were to die for.

Need to make muffins for Simon to take to school this week so I thought I'd try this recipe for blueberry ricotta muffins with lemon sugar topping:
