We are fans of vintage furniture and wanted a room full of life and color .
Being a binational couple (I am French, my husband is Swiss German) living in Zürich, I wanted to give a French touch to the nursery.
I was 3 months pregnant when we traveled to Vietnam and there we saw these magnificent posters of Tintin. The theme was found! My husband loved Tintin when he was small and I love adventure and travel.
The decoration was done gradually while searching flea markets for fisher price vintage toys from the 70's or searching the internet for Tintin decorations. I fell in love with the mushroom lamp from Egmont Toy - she makes a wonderful light at night. Next step is to crochet a Tintin rocket!

Nous sommes fans de meubles vintages et voulions une chambre pleine de vie et de couleurs.
Etant un couple binationale ( lui suisse allemand moi française) vivant à Zürich je voulais donner une touche francophone à la chambre.
J'étais enceinte de 3 mois lorsque nous avons voyagé au Vietnam et là nous avons vu ces magnifiques affiches de Tintin. Le thème était trouvé! Mon mari adorait Tintin et Milou tout petit et moi j'aime le côté aventurier et les voyages.
La décoration s'est faite petit à petit en chinant dans les brocantes pour trouver des mobiles et jouets fisher prices des années 70s ou bien sur internet pour trouver des éléments de décoration tintin.
On a ensuite craqué pour la lampe champignon d'egmont toy qui fait une lumière magnifique.
Prochaine étape faire une fusée tintin en crochet!
