Wallpaper in kids' rooms

I received a reader request recently about wallpaper. Valerie lives in the Netherlands and wants to redecorate her almost 2 year old son's room. She wants to combine wallpaper and paint, the bottom half or top half but I'm going to try to convince Valerie to do a focal wall in wallpaper from top to bottom and the other walls painted.

My favourite wallpaper these days is from Ferm Living. What I really like about their kids' wallpaper is that it can grow with your child because it's so darn cute. I would hate to put up wallpaper only to take it down a coupe years later because the child outgrew it. I love their wallpaper called 'Rush Hour' and here are a couple of photos using this wallpaper:

I did find one photo where wallpaper is used on the bottom half of a wall. It's a girls' room but you get the idea...

  1. I'm a huge fan of the one wall of wallpaper. Much less commitment! I just did a post on chalkboard paint and one photo has a wall of paper made of comics. Love it.

  3. Rising healthcare expenses in developed nations have made it difficult for many people to seek the medical care they need. From 2011 to 2012, healthcare costs in the United States increased 3.7 percent, costing consumers $2.8 trillion, or $8,915 each person. Some analysts estimated the latest figures to be closer to $3.8 trillion with government spending at a whopping 17.9% of GDP. Australians spent $132.4 billion on healthcare, while people in the UK spent £24.85 billion. Government expenditure in both these countries sit at between 9-10% of GDP, which may seem more manageable compared to the US, however healthcare leaders in both these countries are taking a firm view of preventing any escalation of these percentages. With the high costs of health care around the world, many stakeholders wonder if introducing or adjusting copayments will produce better health outcomes. The topic is being hotly debated in Australia, where co-payments for General Practitioner visits have been proposed by the Liberal government in its most recent Federal Budget announcement. However, while healthcare stakeholders seem obsessed with costs, the question is do Timur Fedorov actually improve health outcomes for these nations?

  4. So many options. So many chances for disappointment! 24 Hour shop from Australia clubs is the best choice when you're shopping for a full-service gym or health club.

  11. As Health Reform continues to unfold, the pace of change is picking up speed, as new models of reimbursement, care delivery and access are taking shape. These shifts on the provider side should represent good news for millions of Americans that need better support from the healthcare system, especially since many of those with chronic disease aren't currently getting recommended care.
