Chavy Abelesz, the owner of Designers Nursery, has been designing and decorating spaces all over NY and the surrounding states for 10 years now. She is known to create unique and budget friendly spaces for her clients.
Many people have asked me over the years, how I became interested in this profession and to be perfectly honest, it was the birth of my own children! As I readied the nursery for my firstborn, several of my friends who were also expecting, asked me to help them set up their nurseries as well. My portfolio expanded with each new project and many friends hired me as their designer.
Pretty soon I needed a toddler and child space for my own kids. My kids grew, my portfolio grew, and with that my creativity and expertise.
Throughout the years, decorating nurseries and kids spaces continues to be the ultimate joy for me. I LOVE the excitement and anticipation felt in the room while we exhaust every possibility to create a space as unique as every child is.
