Easter Sunday started off with an Easter egg hunt at our house:
We then went to my parents in the early afternoon so that the kids could play outside and my younger sister (who had to stay home because of the stomach flu) planned an Easter egg hunt outside which my BIL set up for the kids (Pablo was sick with the flu so he stayed home):
Easter dinner was my mom's lasagna (which I don't have a photo of). My sister and I each brought an appetizer. I made crostini with brie and mango salsa and Kim made goat cheese stuffed dates wrapped in basil and prosciutto. My other sister was supposed to bring dessert but because she was too sick to come, my mom whipped up a batch of chocolate cupcakes:
I hope you all had a fantastic Easter! I just love that Easter is a 4 day weekend so I am off to make the kids pancakes with fresh strawberries for breakfast and some more baking this afternoon.

What? No attitude pictures for me? Chocolate really IS a cure-all!
ReplyDeleteNothing like a good sugar high! :) The attitude came when it got close to bedtime and the sugar high wore off...GOOD TIMES.
