I have such a soft spot for built in beds. I really wish we could do one for our youngest, but we're renters and I'm worried about ruining the walls. Instead we just put up a loft bed and we might enclose the bottom part to give it more of a playhouse feel...any suggestions?
Fabric is probably your best bet. A nice vintage pattern would be cute. I put cushions to sit on under my daughter's loft bed and lined the back with more cushions. Some strings of lights along the edge and voila! - a little play area.
