recipes I've tried this week

This was a really long week at work and I couldn't wait for the week to end. Except then I made the mistake of looking at the weather and a whole lot of rain and thundershowers are in the forecast for the next few weeks. Sucky but this will allow me to get stuff done around the house and prepare for Isabella's birthday that is just over a week away. School is out for Isabella for the summer this coming Thursday. Simon is done preschool and both the kids will be going for a few weeks of summer camp shortly. I am very much looking forward to not having to prepare lunches/snacks for the kids.

I made some yummy meals this week. This first one I have made many, many times as Pablo and I LOVE it - sausage stuffed potatoes + a green salad:

The next dish I had to make because it was perfect to make on a rainy Saturday and I love chicken and bacon together. Add BBQ sauce and apples and this is just...MAGICAL.

We had the next dish on a sunny day - perfect BBQ weather - grilled pork tenderloin with pineapple and bell peppers. Of course, served with mashed potatoes...

I had a bad pasta craving and this one hit the spot: ravioli skillet lasagna.

I noticed that we have some bananas going brown and some strawberries in the fridge so today I am going to make roasted strawberry banana bread:

For the hell of it and because they looked ooey gooey good, I'm going to make nutella smores bars:
