recipes I've tried this week

It's a long weekend for us and I love having an extra day to stay home with the family. We're heading over to my parents' place for dinner tonight and tomorrow a whole lot of relaxing is going to be taking place. I cooked some yummy dinners this week. The first was tuscan garlic chicken. This was a nice change from pasta with a tomato sauce.

I had some ground turkey to use so I made turkey sloppy joes. Now who doesn't love sloppy joe's? my kids apparently. They said I screwed up the hamburgers and made faces.

And even though our BBQ is still non-functioning (dammit), I made pork, apricot and red onion kebabs. But omit the kebabs and fry in a frying pan is what I did. Worked okay. Would definitely be better BBQ'd...

Lastly, I tried sesame lemon chicken. Yum but the kids required BBQ sauce for their chicken...

And I just finished up a batch of these heavenly looking nutella stuffed cinnamon sugar muffins. Can't wait to try one!
