Today was a repeat of friday
Oh yes. Pablo went almost another 48 hours without being able to pee. AGAIN. So, back to the hospital again today where Pablo got yet another catheter put in and he was sent home with it too. How in the hell do you explain that to a very curious 4 year old girl!?!?!?!? Turns out we didn't have to bother explaining it to her. Pablo wasn't even back from the hospital for 5 minutes when he realized that the damn thing wasn't working. Basically it didn't seem to be collecting in the bag, rather, it was going in the other direction. Pablo called the in-home care line and spoke to a nurse about it. Pablo told her that he wanted it out so she explained over the phone how he could remove the catheter and he removed it himself. I'm happy that I'm now going to get more sleep tonight - and most likely Pablo too. He's going to call his urologist first thing in the morning and get him to try and figure out what the problem is. SOMEONE HAS GOT TO FIND A SOLUTION FOR THIS 'CRAP'!

Seriously though, I'm sorry this is still going on. And as for patting yourself on the back for getting the Christmas decorations up? You should be getting "Atta girl"s for getting through every day! Let alone getting decorations up. Everyone is alive, fed and clothed. And mostly sane. ;-)
