Looking for help

I spent alot of time trying to figure out exactly what I wanted to say in this post. And it didn't get any easier the more I thought about it.

Those of you who have been coming by for a while know that my husband, Pablo, has been very sick since March of 2010. Due to his health problems (which started with a brain tumour and the list has grown), he has been unable to work since all this started and is now on permanent disability. I work full time while Pablo stays home and looks after the kids but between what I make and the little that Pablo gets from disability, we are having a hard time financially.

I can't work more hours than I already do because I would never see my family and I can't deal with that right now. My family is what keeps me sane.

I am not good at asking for help. I am a very independent person and since my husband has gotten sick, I've had to ask my family for help alot. They never say no but it still isn't easy for me to ask.

Now I need your help. And this isn't easy for me to ask either.

I was hoping to make some extra money by placing ads on this blog so if any of you out there are interested in having an ad on this blog, just know how much this would mean to my family and I. All you have to do is click on the 'your ad here' button on the right to send me an email.

On behalf of myself, Pablo, the boo and the boy, thank you.

  1. I wish I had something to advertise. I'm going to go work on it right now. ;-)

You know, ads are not charity--you're providing a service to them and they are reaping the benefits of the traffic on your blog. Please don't feel like mentioning that you're thinking to add some ads is a big deal. It's not. An exchange for mutual benefit. ;-)

    Hugs.

  2. Oh Collette! All I need from you is to keep commenting because you never fail to make me smile, laugh and cry (sometimes all at the same time!). And that to me is priceless.

It was easier to write this when I thought of it more like a service rather than charity. An exchange for mutual benefit - that's what I should have titled this post!
